About the project
At the center of ‘Inside Man’: an accounts clerk, a federal agent and a boss. An accounts clerk who has copies of everything at a trucking yard quietly begins talking to a federal agent. When the agent asks the clerk to stay in place longer than agreed, the clerk realizes getting out may not be as simple as planned.
Roles
- Brooke Chapman — Supporting · Female · 24-31 · $50/day
Brooke — the agent. Plan on two days, a few scenes each. Meets the lead far from work and is warm in a way that is partly professional.
- Tanya — Supporting · Female · 28-37 · $50/day
Tanya is the boss. Trusts the lead more than anyone, which is the whole problem. Tanya comes and goes through the film.
- Evelyn — Day Player · Female · 18-24 · $25/day
Evelyn is the coworker. Works beside the lead and is about to be blamed. On set for two of the four days.
- Workers on the Floor (Background) — Background · All genders · 18-25 · $25/day
People working at a yard behind the main scenes; simple tasks, repeated the same way every take.
- Amir — Lead · Male · 28-36 · $50/day
Amir — the accounts clerk. Careful, quiet, and completely alone. Amir is in nearly every scene. Every conversation at the trucking yard is two conversations.
